Projects
Sometimes what an organization needs doesn't quite fit under 'support.' Perhaps they need a new web site, or new functionality in their existing site. Perhaps they need help improving their wireless network, or security assistance in setting up a publicly accessible part of their network to support mission-based programs.

These are projects. Projects might be just a couple hours, or a couple hundred. We enjoy working with tiny 1 and 2 person organizations, as well as large 200+ employee groups, and we're happy to scale projects to fit whatever the needs may be.

Some common project requests include:

-
Campus and Organizational Analysis - Tell us what we have and what we can improve.
-
Website Functionality - We have a new tool or need, and want to connect it to our existing site.
-
Device Upgrades - Help us source good quality, well-priced equipment that meets our particular needs.
-
Network Configuration - Help use secure, expand, or link networks to improve and enrich our operations.

Equipment is only as good as your infrastructure
That might be a small problem...
Some years ago, a client had told us at one point that they were going to implement 1:1 iPads throughout their campus. That was of course great news, and would help greatly with their student learning opportunities.

The only issue, we gently pointed out, was that they didn't have wireless coverage across most of their campus. There had been no need, and no desire before then.

A problem we were glad to help fix. Some discussion of goals and likely growth, a site survey and some design work, and we had a project ready for them to implement. They approved, and we went ahead with running cable, installing and configurating access points, and configuring both functions and security as we went.
Many hands make light work
Every summer, we deploy, replace, reset, or otherwise manage more than 10,000 devices. Chromebooks, iPads, laptops and desktops, as well as the care and feeding of various projectors and other peripherals.

That's typical, and has gone on for years. We have good tools and good processes. (re)Setting up 20 or 2,000 devices for a client, whether a small community NFP or a moderate school system, isn't a challenge with the opportunity to plan and the ability to bring multiple folks in to help with the work.
